| San, there is a possibility that the defender had grandfathered standard-capacity magazines. The story doesn’t say either way, but it would be interesting to find out. Seems pretty clear that the police are treating this as a righteous shoot by the homeowner. Hope he has two guns, as the one he used is now evidence in a homicide investigation. Personally, I think if you’re involved in a righteous DGU and the cops take your only gun, they should be required to loan you an equivalent model until yours is returned. |
