| I used to model, and Arthur Elgort was THE photographer that all models wanted to work with. I went to castings with him praying for him to snatch me up as his next muse (alas, no). He liked girls who had been ballerinas, who were elegant, graceful, modest and poetic. His pictures were all of these things. And, as I have come to realize of many people at the TOP of their craft, he was a nice, kind person. He let us down gently. |
