| You are not fully understanding what he is saying, which is that with the higher prices people conserve, keeping the stations opened longer for everyone to have access, and as the situation changes the prices naturally will fall to the “normal” competitive level. Basically if one station charges way too much he will get no business whatsoever, which means that he will lower his price. The government never solves a problem, but ALWAYS DELAYS A PROBLEMS SOLUTION, by intervening and interfering the market solutions. I guess it all goes back to people being conditioned into never seeing the whole picture of the economy. |
