I agree that the light in the first one is more friendly–but that looming presence is Not Friendly, in spite of the warm tones of the stone. In the second, the Castle seems like a possible refuge from the storm that is tossing the trees. It looks sturdy, reliable.Welcome to the imagination of the neighborhood writer. Maybe we should name the book Rorschach Castle. Or Roar Shock Castle, depending. |
