| That is true, but clearly there is something about motorcycling that elicits a more visceral response. Horseback riding is more dangerous on a per-mile basis, but there is never any huge public outcry about horseback riding! In fact, per “Super-freakonomics”, drunk walking is more dangerous on a per-mile basis than drunk driving. |
