| Amy Bishop was unloading a round from the chamber of a 12-gauge shotgun when it went off and struck her 18-year-old brother, an acclaimed violinist and budding scientist."Every indication at this point in time leads us to believe it was an accidental shooting," police in Braintree, Massachusetts, said at the time. Bishop, who was 20 at the time, had asked her mother to show her how to unload the weapon. No word yet on whether police plan to reopen the case. |
